Dyson Vacuums
Dyson has a full line of vacuums ranging from uprights, to canisters, and even down to handhelds. All Dyson vacuums use the Dyson cyclone technology to provide a vacuum that does not lose suction over time. Most vacuums which require bags will slowly lose suction power as the small pores of the bag become clogged. As the Dyson line of vacuums does not require a bag, there is nothing to clog and it remains at full power the entire time you use it.
The Multi Floor Models are sold in a yellow and steel grey color combination, while the animal models are sold in a purple and steel grey color combination. Both the Animal models and Multi Floor models come equipped with three basic on-board tools, the crevice tool, the furniture tool, and the soft dust brush. In most cases the higher the model number the newer the model, so if you're looking for the most recent Dyson, look for higher numbers.
Dyson Vacuums Cyclone Technology
Dyson vacuum cleaners, whether upright or canister models all use cyclonic separation to remove dust and other particles from the air stream. Dirty air enters a conical container, known as a cyclone, where it is forced to flow in a very tight spiral. Centrifugal force causes the particles to be thrown out of the airflow and onto the wall of the container, from which they can fall into a bin. The vacuum cleaner uses several stages of these cyclones in order to attain optimal dirt removing capacities.
